DIY decorations wind down
Beginning our Christmas celebrations, the 15below team came together to do Christmas crafting. This year, we focused on sustainability, using materials like tomato purée tubes and recycled cardboard to create our very own festive decorations. With Christmas music playing, mulled wine and pizza for everyone, it was a relaxing and enjoyable way to start the holiday season.

The 15below Christmas party
To close out a fantastic year, we celebrated together at a beautiful restaurant and bar along Brighton’s seafront. The evening was filled with Christmas songs that set the perfect mood, delicious food, and plenty of fun – especially with our photobooth, which was filled with 15below props! Here are some of the best pictures from the booth... It was such a joy to have team members, and their partners join us, making the evening all the more special. Reflecting on everything we’ve accomplished this year, we were able to share stories, catch-up with those we don’t often see in person, and celebrate our achievements. It was a wonderful occasion to come together and embrace the holiday spirit as one team. Our people really are what make 15below so unique: Their passion, hard work, and camaraderie are at the heart of everything we do, and this celebration was a testament to that. We're grateful for another incredible year and now are turning our attention to 2025, excited for what's to come.
Where we’ve been recently
Navitaire Customer Conference
We started a busy season in Salt Lake City, celebrating Navitaire’s 30th anniversary. Our Head of Product Solutions, Gemma Maidlow, co-presented alongside Vueling Airlines to showcase the success of integrating Navitaire’s Digital API, demonstrating the value of streamlined passenger communications. Other key sessions included a presentation by Navitaire CEO Dave Evans, on the launch of the new Stratos platform. “This launch is a significant milestone for us all; Navitaire Stratos represents dynamic, intelligent, modern retailing. Reimagined. Allowing LCCs and hybrid airlines to further differentiate products, enhance customer interactions, and increase operational efficiency, this new portfolio of solutions can help improve profitability and resiliency across the sector.” We also had valuable discussions with customers like Ryanair, Sun Country, and Jetstar, ensuring they’re supported through the busy holiday season. It was fantastic to see mutual customers, such as Ryanair and Vueling, recognised for their innovation. Outside the sessions, the 15below team joined in on the celebrations attending the famous 90s-themed party and cheered on the Salt Lake Utes in true Brighton style!

World Aviation Festival
WAF 2024 brought industry leaders together in Amsterdam to tackle challenges like effective IROPS management. We sponsored the IROPS summit, where TAP Air Portugal shared its success, using automation and proactive communications to transform passenger experiences during disruptions. 15below's Head of Commercial, Al Treddinick led a roundtable with airlines such as KLM, Qatar Airways, and Etihad, exploring how AI and data integration can deliver personalised, empathetic communications. Discussions focused on combining automation with the human touch for the best possible passenger experience. Beyond the sessions, conversations centred on regulatory changes, like adapting to new DOT requirements, with industry collaboration seen as the key to maintaining compliance and adapting to changes. 15below also proudly sponsored Aviation Business News' Best Places to Work in Aviation awards, celebrating the remarkable businesses shaping the aviation sector.
WestJet and JetBlue Visits
While in the US, we visited two of our valued customers, WestJet and JetBlue. We met with their teams to review ongoing projects, exchange updates, and explore fresh ideas for enhancing disruption management. These in-person meetings not only strengthened our partnerships but also gave us valuable insights into their priorities and goals for the coming year.

Lufthansa IT Supplier Tech Day
We participated in Lufthansa’s IT Supplier Tech Day, showcasing how 15below helps airlines achieve their disruption management goals. Our Senior Commercial Account Manager, Mike Blanchard-Heal led a session on email deliverability, sparking discussions about ensuring critical communications reach passengers’ inboxes. The event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with Lufthansa, Swiss, and Lufthansa Systems teams, hear about innovations across LHG, and explore opportunities to collaborate further. We love days like these as they are vital for sharing ideas and improving both operational efficiency and passenger experience.
Amadeus Disruption User Group
Attending this traditionally airline-exclusive event in Nice was a milestone for 15below, highlighting the growing recognition of our collaboration with Amadeus and the value we bring to the disruption management space. Al Tredinnick (Head of commercial) and Sam Bridgman (Business Analyst Lead) represented 15below, with Al delivering a presentation to the group around the ongoing partnership we have with Amadeus. It was a great opportunity to hear from airlines about their pain points, from balancing automation and manual processes to managing third-party PNRs, helping us refine our solutions to meet their evolving needs.
